Vive le Montreal!

Bonjour Family,

We have also returned from a delightful trip "abroad" (is Canada considered abroad?)

Montreal was a beautiful mess of a city... very liberal, to be sure, and not for the faint of heart ("punks" carrying around rats as pets, streets filled with people at 2:00 am, French as a first-language, free health care for all!).

Anyway, we had a great time seeing some sights, perusing the many shops, and sampling some new foods -- some of which were just demented versions of old favorites (like putine, which consisted of clumps of cheese and brown gravy poured over french fries -- again, not for the faint of heart or the diseased of heart for that matter.)

Hope everyone is well and we will try to post pictures soon (experiencing technical difficulties with computer at the moment).
